Description

The EMB ZG 1.2 Gas Collection Device is a German-made instrument used to collect and measure gas produced by internal faults in oil-filled power transformers. It is installed on the conservator pipe and captures gas from the Buchholz relay for quantitative and qualitative analysis (combustible gas content). Gas analysis from the ZG 1.2 helps diagnose the nature of internal transformer faults.
