The Hipotronics USA 80 kV DC Hipot Test Set is a heavy-duty portable DC dielectric test instrument providing output voltages up to 80 kV for EHV cable and equipment testing. It features analogue or digital metering for voltage and leakage current measurement, with automatic trip-on-breakdown protection. The unit is used for acceptance and maintenance testing of 66 kV and 132 kV cables and transformer insulation.
