The Megger MIT 520 is a 5 kV digital insulation resistance tester with enhanced measurement capabilities including PI, DAR, and dielectric discharge (DD) tests. It features a noise-rejection circuit for accurate measurements on energised plant and stores test results for PC download. The instrument is widely used for HV cable and transformer insulation assessment.
