The Megger FT6/12 Mk2 is a combined breakdown voltage, leakage current, and ionisation tester used for comprehensive insulation testing of electrical components and materials. It measures dielectric breakdown voltage, AC leakage current under applied voltage, and ionisation (corona) inception and extinction voltages. The instrument is particularly suited for testing transformer bushings, insulators, and HV cable samples.
