Description

The Siemens 7SA52 is a SIPROTEC distance protection relay used for overhead line and cable protection in HV transmission systems. It measures line impedance in multiple distance zones and provides directional, teleprotection, and phase-to-phase and phase-to-earth fault detection. The 7SA52 is used in 66 kV to 400 kV transmission line protection schemes.
