Description

The AKM (Qualitrol) Winding Temperature Gauge (160°C, 2-switch, 12 m) is a Swedish-made thermal image winding temperature indicator for power transformers, rated to 160°C with a 12-metre capillary and two microswitch contacts. It uses a heater element energised by the load current CT to simulate winding hotspot temperature above the measured oil temperature. The two-contact configuration provides alarm and trip outputs for transformer winding protection.
