The Qualitrol winding temperature gauge (160°C, 6 m, 4-switch) is a Swedish-made transformer accessory for monitoring transformer winding hotspot temperatures up to 160°C. The 6-metre capillary tube connects the heat sensing bulb (immersed in transformer oil with a heater current) to the indicating gauge, with four microswitches for alarm, fan control, and trip functions. It is fitted to large power transformers operating in high ambient temperature environments.
